Meet our daughter, Fang. On Tuesday (April 18) Megan finally sprouted the tooth she’s been working on. I was expecting upper middle teeth to match the lower middle teeth she has. But it is an upper left eye tooth! Weird. Then on Friday the upper right eye tooth made it’s appearance. She’s going to look like a vampire! We’ll see when they come in further and move around a bit which teeth they really are.
As you can see from this picture, Megan is practicing standing by herself. She’s getting better and better every day. All she wants to do is climb up on everything she can get a hold of and practice walking while holding on to your fingers. She’ll be walking by herself soon!

On Thursday Lauren, Megan and I went to see Dora and Diego’s Pirate Adventure down at the Fox. I had never been to the Fox so I thought that was great. Lauren really liked the whole experience. She didn’t want to leave and kept asking to see it again. It was a pretty good show, except for the super long intermission so all the kiddies could go potty and get a snack. Lauen was worried that Dora had gone. Even Megan enjoyed the show with all the singing and looking at all of the people. It was a good day!

Lauren and Megan had a good Easter. First we checked out the baskets that the Easter bunny left. There were lots of bubbles in there so Lauren and Daddy went out in the front yard and blew bubbles for a long time. Then we went on an Easter egg hunt in the back yard. There was lots of candy and stickers in the eggs that the Easter bunny left. After nap time we went over to Earl’s and enjoyed dinner with the Seugling’s (including Big Earl!) and the Hofer’s. An excellent Easter Day!

Uncle Glenn had off from work on Good Friday so he came over to spend the day with us. How nice! We brought our lunch to the park and played there for a while. It was hot so we came back home and had popsicles. Then Lauren and Uncle Glenn made some Easter cookies. Thanks for spending the day with us, Uncle Glenn!

Megan had her 9 month checkup on Tuesday (April 9). She is 18 lbs 4oz (40%), 27 3/4 inches (55%), and her head circumference is 17 3/8 inches (50%). So she’s pretty average, all in all. She’s a little light, but that’s because she’s such a busy girl crawling all over the place, standing, cruising the furniture and practicing walking. Dr. G said to start more table foods. Megan will like that because she likes to feed herself. She got two shots and was a little fussy the next day, but today all is back to normal. [Lauren was 18 lbs and 27 in even.]
She has started saying “Maaa Maaa” when she cries. She’s been saying “Da Da Da” for a few weeks now. Lauren is still not tolerating interaction with Megan very well.
