Lauren’s class (The Busy Bees) and another class (The Lucky Ducks) sang “The Wheels on the Bus” at the preschool graduation on Thursday. Here’s a little snipit:

Nana painted the living room

Friday, May 19th, 2006

Nana was here this week for a quick visit. She managed to faux paint the living room in one day. Not sure if the picture does it justice, but it really looks terrific! Thanks for working so hard, Nana! Nana left this morning (Friday) to go to Tim Fitzgerald’s High School Graduation. Good luck, Tim! You’ll need it at the USNA!

Meet Fang

Saturday, April 22nd, 2006

Meet our daughter, Fang. On Tuesday (April 18) Megan finally sprouted the tooth she’s been working on. I was expecting upper middle teeth to match the lower middle teeth she has. But it is an upper left eye tooth! Weird. Then on Friday the upper right eye tooth made it’s appearance. She’s going to look like a vampire! We’ll see when they come in further and move around a bit which teeth they really are.

As you can see from this picture, Megan is practicing standing by herself. She’s getting better and better every day. All she wants to do is climb up on everything she can get a hold of and practice walking while holding on to your fingers. She’ll be walking by herself soon!

Dora and Diego, Live!

Saturday, April 22nd, 2006

On Thursday Lauren, Megan and I went to see Dora and Diego’s Pirate Adventure down at the Fox. I had never been to the Fox so I thought that was great. Lauren really liked the whole experience. She didn’t want to leave and kept asking to see it again. It was a pretty good show, except for the super long intermission so all the kiddies could go potty and get a snack. Lauen was worried that Dora had gone. Even Megan enjoyed the show with all the singing and looking at all of the people. It was a good day!

Easter !

Saturday, April 22nd, 2006

Lauren and Megan had a good Easter. First we checked out the baskets that the Easter bunny left. There were lots of bubbles in there so Lauren and Daddy went out in the front yard and blew bubbles for a long time. Then we went on an Easter egg hunt in the back yard. There was lots of candy and stickers in the eggs that the Easter bunny left. After nap time we went over to Earl’s and enjoyed dinner with the Seugling’s (including Big Earl!) and the Hofer’s. An excellent Easter Day!
